Sustainability Report 2019
ROCKWOOL Group releases its 2019 Sustainability Report, entitled #ThisFutureRocks, because we believe that through our solutions, we can create a better tomorrow.
ROCKWOOL has committed to 10 UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which serve as our blueprint for building a better tomorrow. In 2019, we announced our aim to significantly reduce CO2 emissions from production in Denmark and by adding a new metric to measure our socio-economic impact.
Year after year, we continue to make progress towards our sustainability goals through the impacts of our products and the efforts we make to minimise our operational impacts.
In our 2019 Sustainability Report you can read about our achievements, our progress against our goals and the new initiatives that we are taking to increase our positive impact.
The company has five operational sustainability goals for 2030 across energy, climate, water, waste and safety that are designed to drive progress on ROCKWOOL’s 10 selected Sustainable Development Goals by reducing the negative impact from operations on material issues. A sixth goal, reclaimed waste, relates to product impact.
